The John Lennon Educational Tour Bus

John Lennon Bus

When: Thursday, April 23 (public tours from 1–3pm, screening from 4:30–5:30pm)
Where: Wexner Center for the Arts (directions)

On Wednesday, April 22, Lennon staff and Ohio State volunteers will coach  students from the Weinland Park neighborhood Gidget program, an initiative to engage girls and young women in science and technology. In a single day, those students will write music and lyrics for an original song, record and mix it, and produce a music video.

Tour the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus, a state-of-the-art mobile audio and video facility, in front of the Wexner Center on Thursday, April 23, from 1–3pm.

At 4:30 on April 23, attend an hour-long program in the Wexner Center's Performance Space featuring:

  • A discussion about engaging students with music and video projects
  • Screening of several short video pieces by local youth
  • The premiere of an original song and music video by students in the Gidget program—produced in a single day aboard the Bus!

Note: Admission to the Wexner Center exhibitions is free from 4–8pm on Thursdays.
