Testing Your H.323 Or Other Compatible Endpoint
Details:
The default speed for the Megaconference is 384Kbps.All participants are required to test the connection of their endpoints to their assigned MCU (Multipoint Control Unit). You will be contacted directly by your assigned MCU manager by email and will be given complete instructions on how to dial in for your test. Your own technical support person should be on hand to help you with your endpoint configuration details. If you are a presenter, you will be contacted by the rehearsal team about how to sign up for a rehearsal. You must successfully connect to your MCU on one of the following dates in order to remain a participant:
- Friday, Nov 18, 1 PM - 4 PM EST (GMT-5)
- Wednesday, Nov 23, 8 AM - 12 PM EST (GMT-5) (Note that this is also the deadline date for registration.)
- Monday, November 28, 8AM - 11PM EST (GMT-5)
- Note that the Megaconference is Thursday December 1, 8AM - 11PM EST (GMT-5)
- Please also note that when you test, you will also sign up for a Roll Call.
