
Susan Fisher has partnered with TELR and the Digital Union in a number of efforts aimed at making her Biology 101 class a multimedia affair.
First, there was Dancing DNA , which illustrates the replication of DNA through dance.
Next came The OSU Marching Band Marches the Krebs Cycle, which uses the football field for educational purposes.
Fisher dreamed up a rock opera to help students understand Biology concepts; she collaborated with Digital Union staff to have visual images of chimps and humans morphing into each other during the song, "Why am I not a Chimp?"
The Digital Union also is assisting in video linking the campus and
WOSU-TV@COSI for a panel discussion featuring Francis Collins, director of the NIH Human Genome Research Institute
